What follows is the press release that I shared with WLIO and The Lima News. Sources are attached (because I think you should be able to back up your claims).
I believe that my opponent always has someone or something else to blame for what goes on in his ward. It's not just time to find problems; let's fix them as well.
I am a transplant to Lima from Cleveland, OH. I love my downtown neighborhood and being a part of this community! I am trying to learn about and share how local government can best serve the people it represents. I am a wife, mother, educator, activist and poetry performance artist. I am also the newly elected Ward 3 Council Representative. Please use this site to learn more about me and local government, help me reestablish neighborhood organizations for our ward, and share your concerns and desires for our city. Please contact me at Carla.firstname.lastname@example.org or 419.860.0478 with any concerns or questions. I'm looking forward to what we can do together over the next four years!
